Sesamy Analytics is designed from the start to be GDPR complient. It does not rely on Cookies and does not require any end user consent.

Anonymous users

No personal data is sent or stored for unauthenticated users. The analytics library uses anonymous user ids to calculate the unique users for each page and article.

Authenticated users

For authenticated users a user id is added to each request.
